Packaging Strategies Multimedia Specialist Brett Parker talked to Logan Searles, 1st Place Winner of the Flexible Packaging Association's 2024 Student Flexible Packaging Design Challenge about their winning concept.

The awards were presented at a ceremony last month during the 2024 Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) annual meeting in Tucson, Arizona.

Premium Label & Packaging Solutions announced in June that Overnight Labels in Deer Park, New York, won a Bronze Award at the 30th Annual Gold Leaf Awards for Best Use of Cold Foil.

Now and then I like to reflect on how the packaging industry intersects with my personal background. This seems especially appropriate now since it was approximately one year ago that I became Chief Editor of Packaging Strategies.

Winners took home awards in the categories of Sustainability, New Material, and Logistics and Material Flow.

Proveedora Gráfica GX in Mexico was named Global Channel Partner Award Winner. Several of Miraclon’s global regional partners were recognized as well.

Alliance recognizes women from the food and beverage industry in a variety of categories for their achievements.  

The PPI Awards are the only global awards dedicated to recognizing the achievements of companies, mills, and individuals in the pulp and paper sector.

The awards, which feature three distinct categories, honor primary users and suppliers who have made noticeable strides in the reusables space.
