Vericool, the inventors of the world’s first recyclable/biodegradable cooler, has developed a worldwide sustainable thermal solution for shipping COVID-19 vaccines that is both recyclable and compostable.  

In order to demonstrate different tamper-evident features, Metsä Board’s packaging design team produced two samples using MetsäBoard Pro FBB Bright folding boxboard. 

The DTW 25 shrink-wrapping machine applies two perpendicular bands of LDPE film to tightly unitize and totally enclose multipacks of packaged products. The new system uses servo controls to manage the sealing of up to 25 bundles per minute.
