Restel, a Finnish restaurant and catering company, kicks off a pilot with reusable cups made of biobased and recyclable Sulapac® material in selected restaurants, including two Burger King outlets.
As a part of this investment, Eco-Products®, a Novolex business unit and leader in circular solutions for the foodservice industry, will help accelerate the growth of OZZI.
The products, available now as part of the Eco-Products bundle, are made with no-added PFAS and are ideal for restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, bakers, concessions and other foodservice operators.
All cups, lids, containers and cutlery in the new Veridian™ line feature the word “Compostable,” display the BPI Certification Mark signifying that the material is compostable, and include green or brown identification elements like tinting and striping that further help distinguish them from their non-compostable counterparts.
Immediately available and domestically produced, the recyclable paper-based tray system uses 90% less plastic than conventional plastic-based trays and boasts extreme versatility.
