ISO Poly Films, Inc. – a member of the Sigma Plastics Group and a leading manufacturer of multi-layer plastic films – is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. President and founder Jon McClure established the manufacturing company to bring a new level of quality and service to the film industry. The company has experienced significant growth and success, which has helped propel ISO Poly to the top of the industry.
 
This anniversary celebration is marked by recognition with the 2013 South Carolina Excellence Award by the Small Business Institute for Excellence in Commerce (SBIEC). The SBIEC conducts industry research and surveys to identify companies that have achieved demonstrable success in their local business environment and industry category. ISO Poly is recognized as having enhanced the commitment and contribution of small businesses through service to its customers and community
and consistently demonstrated a high regard for upholding business ethics and company values.

ISO Poly Films began operations at its manufacturing plant in Gray Court, S.C. in 1998 with 16 employees. The company turned a profit in its third month of operations and generated $3 million in sales in its first year in business. Sales have steadily increased over the years, and the company is expected to exceed $100 million in sales this year, with employment reaching 150.
 
Through multiple expansions, the company now operates a 235,000-square-foot facility in Gray Court, S.C. and a 50,000-square-foot facility in Vancouver, Wash. and produces more than 150 million pounds of plastic films each year. ISO Poly’s films are used for a variety of packaging and protective film applications, including food and beverage products (such as cheese and beverage pouches and snack bags), consumer electronics, pharmaceutical products, medical devices and industrial products.
